I'll be updating this on and off. Right now I am just tossing a few things up to kind of show how to go about it.
Edit: Oh also.. joining the forums, such as the physics, chemistry, biology, or basics forum and posting quality topics and what not.. and being a contributing member in general I'll give you something if you're interested.. I really need help growing this site!

For Trade

Porcelain Evaporating Dishes
I have many porcelain evaporating dishes - I also have a few Pyrex glass ones as well.
They look something like this http://www.labotienda.com/imagenes/fotos/Porcelana/20206xxx.jpg
I have different sizes - It looks like they are all in nearly perfect condition, they are old and some of them have been used but it doesn't appear they have had much abuse to me.

Ring Stands
I have more then I'll ever need ring stands, some are a bit rusted, and vary from 1 to 3 feet. Some are simply a bolt welded onto a thick flat metal sheet, and a rod that screws in - they were made in a welding class I believe, but they work fine and get the job done!

Rings & Clamps
I have many different ring sizes and types. Some indirectly connect to ring stands by way of a "rod clamp" and I've got a few rings also of varying sizes that directly attach to the ring stand.
I've got a few universal clamps, they are well used, and are missing the original rubber coating, but they work just fine in my experience.
I've also got a few hoffman clamps, and a couple of other knickknacks. Please PM or comment if you suspect I might have something you'd be interested in.

Bunsen Burners
I've got a bunch of these, a lot of them are different and vary in quality and function quite a bit. Let me know if you are interested and I'll give you more information about it!

Small Bottles
I've got a lot of little bottles, some clear with a plastic lid, and others that are only a few mL's, are dark amber and have threads - however, they are missing lids, but I am pretty sure you'd be able to get some lids since they look fairly similiar to other bottle threads I've seen. If you are interested, I can upload some pictures.

Test Tube Racks
I've got a couple of these, varying from ones that are made of plastic, only hold ~ 6ish test tubes, to a nice metal one that probably holds close to I'd say maybe 100?

Magnets
I've got various magnets, they could be useful in making a magnetic stirrer, or whatever.. picture is attached below. I've got small rare earth magnets, some bigger ones, and then 4 large and very powerful neodymium magnets.

I've got more things such as books, a few chemicals, hoffman apparatus, glass prisms,  CRC handbooks of chemistry and physics, Seeds, etc, but I'll update this later once I have a more complete list! In the mean while, here is what I want -- which will also probably be updated.

Want:

24/40 Glassware

Such as condensers, adapters -Including 24/40 to different sizes of ground glass, and 24/40 stopper

Money
If you don't have anything to trade, and you want something I've got you can send me some money.

Chemicals
Not to sure what, if any, but I figure if there is an interesting, safe-to-ship and unregulated chemical, I could easily be interested in it!

A Banner for this site!
I'd like a nice banner for this website - something that starts at the left hand corner and goes to the right starting with physics related materials (waves, particles, equations, etc) going to chemistry (molecules, glassware, lab equipment) and finishing with biology (biochemicals, animals, cells, evolution stuff, Darwin finches, etc)

Keep the main background white, and it probably wouldn't be a bad thing if you talked to me about it while you were doing it.

--- also a nice  similiar logo for the wiki that is being ran on this site? If not, I can probably just edit the banner.

Biological Items
I'm interested in seeds of various interesting plants, Spores of legal/edible mushrooms, wingless fruit flies, etc.

By the way, If you have a trade list, or a want list - make a new thread in the marketplace!

Update: Pictures added... more pictures to come...

That isn't a bad list at all. I'll keep an eye on this for updates, as I am not really interested in anything ATM.

I have several different seeds, but they really aren't anything special so PM me if you are interested but otherwise.. whatever! Cheesy

I'll start working on something and post it here and also PM it to you if you are interested.  Cool

Awesome! I am very interested!  Grin

Best of luck! When do you think it will be done? Let me know if you have any questions about it!

Update: Here are some more images of what I am willing to trade, or sell.

If you see anything interesting, PM or post a comment!

I've also got a few chemicals... so ask me about them!

It is interesting how little people are interested in this stuff! I thought there would have been more of an interest, but I guess not...

Edit: I would be interested in a small amount of pure Ni, Pd, or Pt.

You've called it! But also just because it would be nice to have I guess. Nothing wrong with expanding my collection of elements Tongue

I also have large, 12" or possibly 14" carbon electrodes for welding. They have a copper coating that can be easily removed, and they are able to produce chlorate by using them as electrodes. They are large, so they will last a while, but they do corrode.

I have a few that I have removed the copper from, but I have many that I have not touched.

Likely they are also good for carbon arch furnaces, to absorb microwaves for melting metals... and that sort of thing.

I'm interested, but I have nothing to trade nor no money to purchase anything! So...right now I'm just kind of looking at your stuff ~ Cry

It's interesting - but you are in Europe, yes? I just generally figure that shipping costs and the general possibility of customs hassles make it not worthwhile to pursue transatlantic trades. Anyway there are only 24 members as yet, don't be too disappointed if there's not a whole lot of people who want the stuff.

I don't know if there is cupronickel coinage in Europe, but if there is you may be able to get pure nickel out of it in some way. I leached 85g (of 250g) of metal out of some US nickels using HCl; once I separate the nickel from the copper I could plate out the nickel. Though actually I mostly want the NiCl2 as an oxidation catalyst. It's also possible to leach nickel using carbon monoxide (it forms nickel tetracarbonyl), but as the tetracarbonyl is an extraordinarily deadly compound I don't recommend that approach.

No sir I am in the USA!
The nickel.. I've tried to extract but I never got it free of Copper - I am very interested in your methods...

These are the Vac Pumps... I am thinking they are worth a lot more then 500 dollars... and so I might want more for them, but I doubt anyone is interested so whatever.. but I am going to try and sell them... From what I reed the Fisher Scientific one can pull 0.0000975 mmHg - or 0.013 Pa (0.00013mbar)
